What is Pansexual vs Bisexual

Yes, there are a few other sexualities besides the ‘typical’ ones such as homo-, hetero-, and bisexual. If you also want to know a little bit about gender identities and assignments (i.e. terms such as transsexuality or genderfluid), just let me know 😉

– Pansexuality means that (similar to bisexuals), you can do something with both men and women, because you just fall in love with the person. The only difference is probably that bisexual mainly includes biological men/women and pansexuals are not interested in the gender at all, but only in the person behind it, so they don’t really care if someone is transgender or transsexual or just doesn’t associate themselves with any gender. But the boundaries are fluid, because many who identify as bisexual also say that it only depends on the person and not on the gender and the term ‘bisexuality’ is probably simply outdated and dates back to the time when it was still assumed that there were only two genders. This point also includes polysexuality, which basically means the same as pansexuality, but opinions differ about the correct definition of the term.
