CBG is a component that can be found in hemp. Like about 100 other cannabinoids, it can be extracted from the hemp plant. CBG is formed from the CBG acid and CBGA and develops further into THC and CBD. It thus serves as the basis for the important ingredients, namely cannabidiolic acid, cannabichromenic acid and tetrahydrocannabinolic acid. CBG is mainly found in young and immature cannabis plants. The older the plant gets, the less CBG is contained in it, since THC and CBD are then formed from the CBG. Cannabigerol can be obtained practically only from young hemp plants, since the highest proportion is present here.
Although CBG is not yet so well known, it has numerous benefits and health effects, which, however, plays only a minor role. Nevertheless, it can have a very positive effect on certain complaints. This cannabinoid should be given much more attention.
